CENTRAL ARKANSAS VOLUNTEERS

Volunteering in Central Arkansas with our field trip programs is a rewarding way to inspire young minds through hands-on gardening and cooking experiences. Volunteers play a key role in guiding students as they explore the garden, plant seeds, harvest fresh vegetables, and create nutritious snacks. These interactive activities help children develop a deeper appreciation for healthy food and where it comes from. To ensure the best experience for both students and volunteers, we ask for a consistent commitment throughout the season. Please reach out to ryan@appleseedsnwa.org for more details and fill out our Volunteer Inquiry Form.

FOOD DONATION VOLUNTEERS

Food Donation volunteers are the driving force behind our Food Donation program. Each week, individuals or groups assist us in harvesting, washing, and packing hundreds of pounds of produce that is delivered to our school and community partners. Shifts are typically 3-4 hours long. Shifts usually occur in the mornings but can be adjusted due to weather and needs.
