Apple Seeds is coming to Benton County!

Join us Sunday, October 25, at Ozark Beer Co. for a special tasting experience featuring carefully crafted small plates from chefs and owners Julio and Adrian Leonardo of La Media Luna, perfectly paired with beer tastings that complement the flavors on your plate.

Hear the inspiration and creative process behind each pairing from Ozark Beer Co. Marketing Director and brewer, Marty Shutter, and discover what goes into creating a great match between food and drink.  We'll get a special selection chosen from the line up of hand-crafted cocktails, seasonal specialty beers, ciders, and local craft sodas that are a constant rotation of creativity coming out of the taproom!

Prefer to skip the alcohol? Non-alcoholic pairing options will be available, so everyone can take part in the experience! Please make a note with your ticket purchase if you prefer non-alcoholic beverages.

Come hungry and curious as we explore how thoughtfully paired food and beer can bring out the best in both.

Small Plates. Big on Flavor. Good for the Community.

About the Chefs: Julio Leonardo and his nephew Adrian bring the rich culinary traditions of Hidalgo, Mexico, to every dish they create at La Media Luna. Named after their family's farm in San Pedro Amajatlán, La Media Luna is both a tribute to their heritage and the inspiration behind their authentic approach to cooking.

Drawing from the diverse culinary influences of the Hidalgo region, including Indigenous Otomí traditions, Spanish colonial techniques, and the lasting impact of Cornish mining communities, they showcase a cuisine defined by bold red chile sauces, expertly grilled meats, and time-honored recipes passed down through generations.

With this small plate experience, Julio and Adrian will celebrate the people, culture, and landscape that shaped them, crafting food that honors family traditions while sharing the vibrant flavors of central Mexico with Arkansas.

About the Small Plate Dinner Series -Our new Small Plate Series features pop-up dining experiences where local chefs present a variety of tasting plates, mini mains, and sweet bites. Each tasting event features unique cuisine and beverages as we share a relaxed night together. These dinners aim to bridge the gap often felt between the chef and diners in a typical dining environment, thereby creating a deeper connection to the food on the plate. Through intentional procurement of local, seasonal ingredients, the transparent preparation of the meal, and storytelling by the chef, each plate is transformed from food into an unforgettable dining experience.
