04.19.2026 Small Plates Series featuring Damian Lux with Chef Brooks Cameron - A Perfect Start to Spring
Join us on Sunday, April 19 at 6:00pm for as we kick off the 2026 Small Plate Series featuring Damian Lux with Chef Brooks Cameron - celebrating the start of spring and the joy of outdoor cooking!
Our Small Plate Series features pop-up dining experiences where local chefs present a variety of tasting plates, mini mains, and sweet bites. Each tasting event features unique cuisine and beverages as we share a relaxed night on the farm.
They will embody the communal spirit of cooking over the Lux Fire Grill. Think of your favorite foods - now imagine preparing them outdoors, over a fire, surrounded by family and friends. It’s in those moments of sharing food, laughter, and fresh air, that lasting memories are made. Brooks and Damian will guide us on a culinary journey rooted in fire. As Damian Lux, founder of LUX Grilling Company, enthusiastically agrees, there's nothing that can imitate the flavor and textures of cooking over an open fire … the subtle smoke and the kiss of the flame is incomparable.
Come hungry and ready to savor a variety of small plates in this one-of-a-kind dinner experience — the perfect kickoff to Spring!About the Chefs -
Damian Lux: Meet Damian Lux, the founder and driving force behind LUX Grilling. What started as a happy accident sparked a deep love for open fire cooking — and an obsession with doing it better. Frustrated by the limitations of traditional grills, Damian set out to engineer a solution, and the LUX Precision Fire Grill was born: the most adjustable fire grill on the market, designed to give every griller total command over live fire. Fabricated and built right here in Fayetteville, AR, it’s a fire literally made in your backyard. From a memorable Arkansas experience to an Arkansas icon in the grilling world, Damian’s journey is proof that the best innovations start with a spark.
Chef Brooks Cameron: With over two decades of culinary experience, Chef Brooks Cameron has a passion for crafting and curating exceptional flavors. He’s passionate about food anthropology and the ways cultural intersections are shaping the cuisine in the United States.
With experience spanning a variety of cuisines and “chef-driven” restaurants that defy a specific style, Chef Brooks emphasizes preservation techniques like pickling, fermentation, and charcuterie to accent fresh ingredients and preparations. His work reflects a deep respect for simplicity and a focus on letting ingredients shine. After several years serving as Corporate Executive Chef for Tyson Foods, he recently opened Bloom Cheese Collective with his wife, Ali Cameron – a specialty cheese shop based in Fayetteville, AR.
About the Kitchen Table and Small Plate Dinner Series - Born out of a desire to build a community around great food, Apple Seeds' Kitchen Table Dinner and Small Plate series is designed to recreate the feeling of gathering around a dear friend's table. These dinners aim to bridge the gap often felt between the chef and diners in a typical dining environment, thereby creating a deeper connection to the food on the plate. Through intentional procurement of local, seasonal ingredients, the transparent preparation of the meal, and storytelling by the chef, each plate is transformed from food into an unforgettable dining experience.
